Capturing emotion
In the last picture in this photo series, I chose to photograph sorrow. Sorrow is viewed literally and figuratively through the perspective of the subject. This pictures captures the essence of sadness with the everything except for the eye in back and white making the melancholy colors in the eye pop and show the emotion I was trying to portray in this photo. The white in most of this photograph contrasts the green in the eye and the black in the outline of the eye. I composed this photograph to fill the frame and so that the natural color in the eye popped due to very little to nothing going on in the background. The way this picture was edited, it creates the illusion that the eye is a sketch as opposed to a photograph. Texture is a prominent component in this photo. It can be seen
